Creative Ways to Pass the Time at the Laundromat

Who said that a trip to the laundromat has to be tedious and boring?

Look, we get that laundry might not be your favorite thing in the world to do, but it has to get done. And we also get that spending hours at the laundromat might not be your favorite way to spend your day. That’s why we make it a point to make your visit a more enjoyable, entertaining one.

For instance, all of our laundromats offer large flat-screen HD televisions, free wireless Internet, video games, cell phone chargers (some locations only) and more to help you pass the time.

Aside from what we’re proud to offer, however, there are a bevy of other ways that you can pass the time. Here’s a look:

  • Stream shows, movies. Bring in your tablet or mobile device and hook up to our free WiFi to stream shows or movies on Hulu, Netflix, HBO Now, Amazon Video and more. If you don’t want to take any chances with the WiFi, you can even download certain programs to your device prior to coming in for offline viewing.
  • Read a book. It’s not often that anyone has a few hours to just get lost in a book. Outside of occasionally switching out loads, a trip to the laundromat can be a great place to get some fun reading in.
  • Catch up on e-mail. Whether it’s your personal account or your work account, falling behind on e-mail is never fun. The laundromat can present a great opportunity to catch up.
  • Call your friends/family. Today, it seems like all we do is text and e-mail. What happened to a good ole’ fashioned phone call? Call up any friends or family that you haven’t heard from in a while and have an actual conversation with them.
